Entrance turnstiles AKP

AKP is designed to ensure the passage of passengers at the station of the Minsk metro when processing ticket products of the metro with a turnstile:

  • plastic reinforced tokens;
  • unified travel tickets based on contactless smart cards of the MIFARE Plus standard with a memory structure adopted for the automated system of payment and control of public transport in Minsk;
  • travel tickets based on contactless smart cards of the MIFARE Classic standard, issued by the State Enterprise “Minsk Metro”;
  • using QR-codes of the payment system “Oplati”.

Performs the following functions: 

  • provides permission for passengers to pass in the forward direction (entrance to the metro station) if the fare control operation is successfully completed, prohibition of passage if the payment control operation is not performed or the control result is negative;
  • provides a ban on the passage of passengers in the opposite direction;
  • provides free passage of passengers in both directions in the absence of power supply;
  • exchanges information with the station workstation via the Ethernet interface to ensure information interaction with other station passenger automation devices, including counting and transferring the total number of passenger passes through the AKP to the station workstation;
  • get offline work when disconnected from workstation station;
  • performs self-diagnosis with the issuance of a failure code;
  • provides the ability to connect process equipment for testing, diagnostics with failure code indication and replacement of controller software;
  • displays for the passenger information about the permission or prohibition of passage, the expiration date of the ticket or the number of remaining trips;
  • displays to the personnel the number of collected tokens (the number of passes through the tokens);
  • provides interaction via an external CAN interface with the lobby terminal.

In the surface public transport of the city of Minsk, a payment system is widely used that allows you to pay for travel using a QR code through the “Oplati” mobile application. This type of fare payment is in great demand among passengers, now there are over 750,000 service users in Belarus.

Currently, payment for travel using QR codes of the “Oplati” payment system is implemented at one of the turnstiles in each lobby of the first and second metro lines. Currently, work is underway to implement the “Oplati” settlement system at all turnstiles of the first, second and third lines.

The power supply of the AKP from a single-phase network consumes a voltage of 220 V, a frequency of 50 Hz, the power consumption in working condition is not more than 50 W, at the moment of closing the wings – 100 W.

Hopper capacity for tokens – no more than 5000 pcs.
Overall dimensions: 1193 x 210 x 920 mm.
Weight of AKP – no more than 100 kg.

AKP is designed to work under the influence of the following operating conditions:

  • ambient air temperature from minus 5 to plus 40 ºС;
  • atmospheric pressure from 630 to 800 mmHg (84 to 107 kPa);
  • relative humidity from 40 to 95% at a temperature of 30 ºС.
